We bought this item for our almost 4 year old daughter and I have to say that I am a bit disappointed.This toy does not hold her interest as much as the My First Leap Pad and it seems to be for much older children(5-8). for 4 and up? i dont think so!
we recieved this yesterday as a gift for my 5 year olds birthday. i can't even figure out how to use it! there are too many buttons for a preschooler, too many words on the buttons, too many words on the screen, graphics suck, (i mean, its a kids toy, but you can't tell what things are supposed...

My son will be three in January. He like to play video games and he loves the learning toys. He does really well with the vtech laptop.
I bought my daughter the v-smile pocket because it was cheaper than the leapster, the games are cheaper and it can plug into the tv. She already had the v-smile, and the games she has will work on the v-smile pocket.

Finalists for the 2011 ITEX Computerworld Awards have been announced.
This year the categories consist of ICT Project, ICT Manager sponsored by Cube People Recruitment, and Software Developer of the Year. The winners be announced at the ITEX Computerworld Awards and Networking Function on November 23.
