Customer Reviews:
  1. This is an awesome keyboard!
This came in the mail today for my 2.5 year old's Christmas present, and I can't stop playing with it (while he is napping). We ordered it through Amazon for $24.99, and it was fulfilled through Target. The age right on the front states 2 - 6 years old, so the reviews talking about this 'not...
  2. Fun and durable. If you want a piano, get a piano.
My 21-month old daughter received this for Christmas from her grandmother but because she had so many other presents, we saved it to give her this weekend when her grandparents visited. She immediately figured out the two buttons that play pre-recorded music (instrumental songs and "witty kitty"...

Has anyone taught their toddler to play the piano? When and how did you start?

My son is only 13 months old, so this a future plan. I can play the piano, though I'm far from accomplished musician. I'd like to teach my son, when he gets a little older, the basics of reading music.

I am a piano teacher and I have decided against any formal training for my daughter until she is five or six years old. Most younger children do not have the coordination and/or skills necessary to learn how to play the piano correctly.

is this a sign of autism in a toddler?

There is a wonderful resource that you can go to that will help you greatly. This lady is a doctor and has dedicated her practice solely to AUTISM. Her mother, Mary Tocco, has 30 years of researching vaccines and is lecturing, doing radio interviews, etc. on this subject.

Finding God in the Shack
Finding God in the Shack Consider the Tiny Tykes piano. This is a toddler's piano with a measly four keys on the keyboard: C, E, G, and high C. This limited selection of keys has an ...

What would it be like to lose your youngest child to a serial killer? And then to have God invite you out for a conversation at the very shack where the terrible deed took place? And then imagine that the door to that shack of horrors opened . . . and before you knew it you had been swept up in the motherly embrace of a large African American woman? This most unlikely of stories, as told in William Youngs The Shack, has become a runaway bestseller and it is easy to see why. The book brings us on a redemptive journey through the shacks of deepest pain and suffering in our lives, guided by the triune God of Christian faith. But even as lives have been transformed through this book, other readers have sternly denounced it as a hodgepodge of serious theological error, even heresy. With one pastor urging his congregation to read it and another forbidding his congregation to, many Christians have simply been left confused. Aware both of the excitement...

Yamaha YPT210AD Portable Keyboard with Adapter Review | Steinway ...

I'm a guy in my late 30s who's never learned to play any musical instruments or learned to read music or had any kind of musical training. I've always wanted to learn piano, though. So when my toddler son got a kid's keyboard from his grandmother for Christmas, it rekindled my interest and I started looking around Amazon.com to see if I could find something that'd work for me (hey, I'd cheerfully have co-opted my son's keyboard--goodness knows he got enough loot for Christmas--but the keys were too small/narrow for my hand; it's a kid's keyboard, after all). Now, keep in mind that I'm pretty much an ignoramus when it comes to music, or portable keyboards, or quality of voices and songs and instruments and all that fancy stuff I'm just learning. All I can say is this: WOW. This thing sounds great. The Grand Piano mode sounds just like, well, a grand piano. Now, I'm sure Ms. Mitsuko Uchida (hey, I may be a musical ignoramus, but I do like...
