⢠Announcing the 2011-2012 Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) Season may seem a bit too premature to you but, I sincerely believe that we all should help our PPO become a world-class orchestra. They need funding, more rehearsals and performances. One way of helping them is by purchasing subscription tickets for the 2011-2012 season. So folks, get out your checkbooks and order season tickets ASAP. Most of the concerts will be conducted by Olivier Ochanine. The venue will be the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). It is understood that the management reserves the right to change the soloists and performers, and the program, if needed. The season commences on Sept. 9 with A Hero’s Life , with Renato Lucas as soloist in Elgar’s Cello Concerto.
