Smokefreerockquest top six national finalists announed

The feeling of coming kiwi music could emerge among the six national finalists announced in Smokefreerockquest this year.

More than 800 groups and soloists have been off since May, with two bands each of 27 regions to enter the final selection pool. The judges of the music industry today named the top six, selected from DVDs submitted for the regional finals.

Tania Senior Judge of the Air New Zealand said it was incredibly difficult to choose the six finalists for this year: "But I'm happy with the result - it's gonna be a wicked night in the national finals.I saw tons of solid players in the top 20 and I will be happy to see them grow in the coming years. "

"Matt Warman said Midnight Youth Smokefreerockquest has always been the most buzz in high school:" He was one of the best experiences I had as a young musician and a great privilege for me to be this side of the fence to try some amazing artists who are the future of New Zealand music.

I want to start electric guitar, I have to learn classical guitar first. Basically … No. Not unless you want. It is important that you learn the way you want to learn. Too many people will tell you that "this is the right way" or "the right way" – the fact is that there is no right way. Just look at some of the blues players – technique-wise that would be considered terrible these days, but the sound at will. If you feel the need to make sure you know a teacher you want to learn, not only become a clone of that person. The music is all about individual expression is not about following a list of rules.
