Add and AC adaptor and it's great
We've had this cd player for a year with two young children (now ages 2 and 4), and it's held up great. We've even packed it (carefully) in suitcases to take on plane rides, and it's still going with no trouble. I like the "hold" switch in the back which basically shuts down the button... -

Councillor challenges radio host to boxing match

A city councillor in Saguenay has challenged a local radio personality to a fight in the boxing ring because of the things he has been saying about him and his family.
Coun. Marc Pettersen said Carl Monette, the host of KYK Radio X, has repeatedly made defamatory remarks about him and his wife and children ever since he ran for the Liberals in the last federal election.
He said Tuesday he can stand the personal attacks on him, but, he said, Monette crossed the line when he attacked his family.
Pettersen said he's had enough of that. So he's challenging Monette to a boxing match.
"He always hides behind his mic. But in a [boxing] ring he will not be able to hide," Pettersen said
He said he's already training for the event, which he hopes will happen in October.
It was the hot topic on Monette's morning radio show Tuesday.
But the 31-year-old radio host isn't sold on the idea.

Amanda Chadwick asked me if I would like to sketch a radio interview as she promoted The Children's Home Society of Florida on the radio.
