cool toy
I like this because it plays in an electric guitar sound. Its obvious what to push for music for my baby and the rattle is good too. cute unique rattle/music toy. The only thing I don't like is there is no off button so it can be turned on accidentally.

Music Tonight : The ukulele has led an interesting existence since first invented in pre-United State Hawaii in the late 1800s. A cornerstone of Hawaiian music, American Jazz musicians and vaudeville acts took to the instrument in the early ’20s, but it eventually became just a cheap toy in most Americans’ eyes. In the ’90s, artists like Hawaiian ukulele magician Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and old-timey ’20s Jazz revivalists Squirrel Nut Zippers showed a mostly younger fanbase that the uke was a legit instrument and a cult underground of die-hard ukulele enthusiasts has been building since. Rocker Eddie Vedder released an album of uke tunes, Paul McCartney plays one during his stadium concerts and a new breed of artists has reclaimed the instrument, including Cincinnati Folk act Shiny and the Spoon (which releases its new album this Saturday, coincidentally) and eclectic Urbana, Ill.
Childrens Guitars - Kids Acoustic and Toy Guitars
There are all kinds of guitars available for children. If you look around you will be able to find child size guitar acoustic or electric. There are also toy guitars. Toy guitars are a good way to start a child out of learning music. When a baby is sitting, they can be brought into the world of music.
Toy manufacturers have a variety of musical instruments for babies, toddlers and children of all ages. If you do not know much about guitars, guitars in particular for children, then the following will be of help. One of the first questions: What is the difference between an acoustic guitar and classical?
The answer to this question is that the classical guitar will feature nylon strings on the higher grades, with three strings are made of steel. A classical guitar has a slotted headstock and a wide neck and body. This guitar has a more smooth sound than its counterpart acoustics....
