It depends on the instrument. if its percussion they learn it naturally because of pots and pans. strings like violin I would start them around 3-4, and for woodwinds and brass I would start them around 9-10 years old because the lungs aren't fully developed when they are young.

The toy library has an ever-changing selection of toys for a monthly rental rate low ... musical instruments, puzzles, games, construction toys, water games, baby toys, riding toys and outside.
The toy library is a community volunteer non-profit organization.
Wauchope Branch Committee members, Wendy and Susie Cooper and Maureen Winnall, said that the purpose of the organization is to ensure that no preschool child misses the experience of having access to large toys .
"We have a range of games and activities, which help keep the mind active children to develop fine and gross motor skills and broaden their experiences," said Ms. Cooper.
"If you have your own children, or if you care for the children of others, then the toy library can help you with quality toys for rental at very low cost.
