Great Accordion for the Price
You cant beat the quality and sound for the price of this accordion the next up 3 Row is the Hohner Corona II is about $1200+ (Also Made in China) so obviously the build will not be like that one but sound is very comparable. Love the matte black color so much better then the candy coated ones... -
The straps
I really do like this accordion and my husband likes it more than I do. The only thing we both found wrong with this instrument is that there are no instructions for putting on the straps. Both my husband and myself have never played this instrument before so I guess we need to take a lesson in...

I'm a big fan of regional mexican music and well being hispanic is one of the reasons why. Anyways, I have always wanted to learn to play the accordion and have been saving money to buy one and learn how to play it.
Don't worry that your to old to learn an instrument! All you need is the desire to learn it!
The accordion used most for mexican music is a three row button box. Usually tuned GCF.

I know the price range on the Gondoliers but no one seems to have the price for the Accordion players or Serenaders on the Gondolas. Can someone please tell me a price range on how much they usually charge? Thanks!

Townspeople and visitors to Ballymoney on Saturday 30th July could easily have thought they were in London for Notting Hill or Rio for Mardis Gras; such was the atmosphere and turnout for the Annual Dunloy Accordion Band Ulster Scots Festival and parade.
The town’s Castlecroft area took on a new lease of life that morning as band members began to build the stage, set up the sound system and decorate the area for the Festival concert. A very fine day of summer weather contributed greatly to the already ‘buzzing’ atmosphere felt around the town and by 1pm this had helped a capacity audience turn out at Castlecroft for the Festival to begin.
In his opening remarks, Nelson McCausland cited the fact that Ulster Scots Culture was alive and thriving in its North Antrim homeland and commended Dunloy Accordion Band as ambassadors for such and for its efforts to maintain this cultural awareness province and nation-wide.

The accordion countdown begins
The 21st Annual Cotati Accordion festival is coming up quickly, scheduled for Aug. 20 and 21 in La Plaza Park, under the shade trees in the central plaza. Bring your own short-backed chair (and your accordion if you’d like to join the Lady of Spain play-along) and prepare for a day filled with music of all genres. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Limited handicap parking is available at 8020 Old Redwood Highway and in front of the Korean Baptist Church at 81 W. Cotati.
As a kick-off to the event, New Hope Church of Cotati will open its doors Friday for a Night of Traditional Church music with accordions at 183 East Cotati Ave. Piano instructor Moe Soemoe of Bakersfield will lead the group, which is open to any who wish to play along.
