Arsenic Issue
I have not bought this toy yet, but am interested in one of the other Melissa & Doug bead mazes. I called them because of the review referring to arsenic. They assured me there isn't any, and they have safety certificates. Just wanted to inform everyone. -
Good toy
I bought this toy originally thinking I would leave it at out-of-town grandma's. However, it was small enough that I decided to bring it home. It has suction cups on the bottom, which allow you to use it on a high chair or other place. My 8 month old likes to spin the pieces and is growing...

I ignore the age requirements on things. I look at the product and then decide if my child is mature enough to handle it or if they're maturity level is beyond the toy.
Eli loves wire and bead mazes, he also loves to crawl and get into things. At one point I found a solution. Barricading him in with 3 puzzles.

I found these toys to be a lot of fun and interesting to sit down and challenge my mind and test my own hand eye coordination. I am 31 years old and decided I would give them a try. I was hooked. As I was able to get through certain hurdles within the maze I could wait to get past the next task. I think for a 4 year old this toy might pose a challenge and might be difficult for them to do but in time they would grow to love it.
