So while ABC Family, cable 37, continues its annual "13 nights of Halloween" programming and Fox returns with its 22nd annual installment of "The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror" on Oct. 30, the movie channels have already started plundering their vaults for film titles that include "Halloween," "horror" or "blood."
Ditto for Halloween-themed episodes of network TV series like the "Witch's Lament" episode on Sunday's "Desperate Housewives" on ABC, channel 8.
Family-friendly scares ABC Family will offer the feature film premiere of "Bewitched" at 5:30 p.m. Monday on cable 37. And, of course, every child, even animated ones like Linus, hope they will be visited by the Great Pumpkin in the classic animated Halloween-themed "Peanuts" special, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," airing at 7 p.m. Thursday on ABC, channel 8.
