Good for kids
I was given this paddle as a gift so I could go out with my preschool son. The adjustable shaft allows you to make it just the right length for a child. It is solid, good quality plastic and aluminum. Good value. -
handy and compact
These were very handy for tube floating that we dd this summer. They are compact enough for use on a single-person raft. This would be 5 star but one of the paddles was not able to close after a couple of uses.

Paddle shifters on a car w/ an automatic transmission generally work when the transmission is put into a "sport mode.
