I haven't seen any. Maybe the duck ruined all of the shots.

How should Nascar penalize Carl Edwards for his intentional wrecking of Brad Keselowski?

If a part of the car flies into the stands and kills someone, Does he get charged with Manslaughter, afterall; his actions are what would have caused a death if that happened, especially when the lap before, Edwards tried to do the same thing but...

If they were both battling for position, I wouldn't have cared. But......Carl was 156 laps down, there is no reason, I don't care who you are to drive like that when your 156 laps down. I'd like to see if if Robby Gordon or one of the less popular ones did that what would happen.

Carl Edwards, Nascar Driver
Carl Edwards, Nascar Driver Explores the life and racing career of NASCAR star Carl Edwards.

Known for his trademark celebratory backflips off of his car following victories, Carl Edwards is one of NASCARs biggest and most irrepressible personalities, and also one of its winningest drivers. Racing in all three of NASCARS race series, Edwards has racked up more than 30 wins and more than 160 Top 10 finishes in only six years of racing. He won two Rookie of the Year honors: in 2003 in the NASACAR Craftsman Truck series and in 2005 in the NASCAR Busch series. In 2007, Edwards was named the NASCAR Busch series champion. Not yet 30 years old, Edwards should have a long and successful future ahead of him in racing. His life story is far from written, but what an adventure it has already been!

Trevor Bayne expects NASCAR schedule to stay same in 2012

"You're never disappointed if you think keeping him is going to help you, especially if it's someone you get along with really well," Bayne said Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway . "But when it's an open seat with two development drivers running strong, sometimes you want to see a seat open up."

When Edwards was mulling leaving the No. 99 Ford, the most likely candidates to replace him were Bayne and Roush teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who outdueled Edwards on Saturday at Iowa Speedway for his second NASCAR Nationwide Series win.

Though Stenhouse is more accomplished in the second-tier series, Bayne has 12 starts in Sprint Cup and a victory in the circuit's season-opening crown jewel that made him highly marketable and attractive to sponsors.

Bayne said the team was waiting on Edwards (who re-signed with Roush last Thursday) before determining his future. He expects next year will be a reprise of 2011: a part-time Sprint Cup schedule with Wood Brothers Racing and a full-time Nationwide slate with Roush.

Carl Edwards Deal Post-Mortem | The NASCAR Insiders

For months Carl Edwards and the speculation about his 2012 plans have dominated Silly Season coverage ( TC wrote about it just last week ). It was a daily will he or won’t he. In the last several weeks it looked increasingly likely Edwards would make the jump to Joe Gibbs Racing – some were reporting very specific rumors including signing bonuses, sponsors and driver pay.

And then, as quickly as it began, Roush Fenway Racing put an end to it with a press release last week announcing Edwards would re-sign with the team in a multi-year deal.

From the very beginning Edwards said performance was going to be the key factor in his decision for 2012. As the points leader and a winner this season Edwards was/is in a very good position at RFR. Improving on the situation he was in would have been difficult.

Enter Joe Gibbs Racing, a Championship winning organization, looking for the right opportunity to expand to four cars....

FYI WIRZ: NASCAR's Carl Edwards and others talk Pocono but silent ...

Author: Dwight Drum  racetake.com

Sprint Cup points leader Carl Edwards is talkative about the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) race in Pocono, Pa, but remains resiliently silent about whether he’ll stay at Roush Fenway Racing or defect to Joe Gibbs Racing.

A big bonus might be on Edwards’ mind this Sunday but for the other 42 competitors, the Good Sam RV Insurance 500 at the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway with 14 degree banking—winning is the focus. Some contracts besides the rumor-plagued scenario surrounding Edwards are in process too, but it appears racing may come first.

Regardless of “silly season” or contract negotiations, ESPN will televise the long Pocono race at 1 p.m. on August 7 for fans who can’t make it to Pennsylvania hills.

The top five in the point standings, Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth have a combined 10 wins this season and will be eager to add one more victory to their total. None were shy to comment.
