Exploring Mars Needs Moms with Director Simon Wells

After directing The Time Machine and The Prince of Egypt, Simon Wells stepped behind the camera to helm the futuristic Mars Needs Moms, which is now out on Blu-ray and DVD as of August 9. For Mars Needs Moms, Simon Wells used his background in animation to give fans the next step in motion and performance capture to tell the story of nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) who finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young.

Produced by the team behind Disney’s A Christmas Carol and The Polar Express, Mars Needs Moms showcases Milo’s quest to save his mom that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling). With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois).

Ahead of the August 9 Blu-ray release of Mars Needs Moms, TheDeadbolt went one-on-one with director Simon Wells to learn more about his approach to the story, both motion and performance capture, what the story says about society, and why Mars Needs Moms has such a relevant message in today's modern, fast paced technological age.

Kahlei gained Pink Kid robust digital camera with easy to understand control, 64MB of internal memory, a color LCD viewer and two eyes to take photos as easy as possible and a built-in automatic flash.

Hanging on was a real joy to Kahlei and she likes to play the role of return and will be happy to sit down and go through everything it took for ages but it is telling me about it or talk to it.

The thing would turn on and right back off again. Our son was really upset, he’s three. So we found this camera as a replacement and it works great! It has really cute little games on it easy enough for a 3 year old and it takes pretty good pictures for being a toy. Not those over grainy things that the fisher price one took.
