Just as we have nostalgia for the music of our youth, we feel the same attachment to video games being played during our college years smoking pot. For me, the console that appeared most often through the haze of smoke was the SNES, with Super Mario Kart games Streetfighter II and played until we were too tired and stoned to taunt each longer.
So I have my eye on the hyperkinetic SUPABOY, a handheld, LCD-screened console that plays games SNES that God intended: the original game carts and not a downloaded file ROM. This aspect portable, however, is not one who gets excited me.I am much more interested in the possibility to connect two controllers SNES correct (some of the best ever designed, in my smoke Hazed memory) and send a signal to a TV via a composite cable-out. I could of course pick up a real SNES, but it is simply too big to keep at home.
It looks good, even if no strange features are guaranteed by hyperkinetic. However, the prototype had no problem with the usual games like Starfox problem (thanks to its delicate "Super FX" chip DSP).
